This 1930s art glass vase is lovely! It's called Chanticleer which comes from Chaucer’s Canterbury Tales, the “Nun’s Priest Tale”, to be specific. The Chanticleer is a proud and fierce rooster who dominates the barnyard. It was the creation of Duncan & Miller ofWashington, Pennsylvania, producers of high quality glass from 1865-1955.
The vase or votive is small, measuring in at 3.25" tall and 4.5" across (8.25cm x 11.5cm).
