. Comes with rarely seen original box. 1920s-30s. Dog and box described individually below.
TOBY Dog Figurine:
Frosted clear semi-transparent molded Boston Terrier dog. Blue rhinestone eyes. Hand-painted gold collar has darkened over time, paint missing in areas. Tip of dog's left ear has tiny chip. No cracks, any lines visible in photos are part of the molding process. Very good condition.
2 5/8" High x 2 5/8" Front to back x 1 1/2" Side to side
TOBY Box:
Pressed paperboard with semi-glossy orange paper wrap. Black and white printed image of figurine, "TOBY," and patent information applied to lid. Some of label missing along bottom corner. Edges of box worn, cardboard has damage on side panel. As found condition.
