    Description

    DESCRIPTION
    - This mug is a souvenir from the 1998 opening of the Museum at the Louisiana State Penitentiary in Angola. The museum is the brainchild of the infamous warden Burl Cain. Angola is a bit out of the way, but the museum is worth the trip - it contains many artifacts, including the original working electric chair, coffins made by the inmates, escape tools, etc. Please note - the mug appears to have a black background but is actually a deep blue color.
