Duncan & Miller Spiral Flutes Amber 9" Large Handled Console Bowl Art Deco CLEAN

Just unpacked from a box that was packed away some 25-30 years ago comes this beautiful bowl.  I believe the pattern to be "Spiral Flutes", which is a pattern begun in 1924 and manufactured by the Duncan & Miller Glass Company.  This pattern was manufactured in amber, pink, green, and crystal.  This bowl is LARGE measuring 9 inches across the top and standing 5 1/4 inches tall.  The color is amber or rootbeer.  This bowl is footed and handled!!  The handles make this bowl somewhat unusual, especially on a large console bowl.  The Duncan & Miller Glass Company manufactured Elegant Depression Glass, that which was sold in better jewelry stores and department stores of the day.  This bowl would make quite a statement in any room or on any shelf or table / buffet top.  There should be matching candlesticks out there in the world somewhere and that gives you something to search for at the markets and shows.  The condition of this bowl is VERY GOOD with some strawmarks and a few bubbles.  There are no chips, no cracks, no discoloration, and no damage.  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  You will be delighted with this unusual and large bowl!!
