Fastheads CRF Trail Economy Cylinder Head Service is geared towards the recreational rider who rides generally in the lower to mind RPM range and is not suited for competition riding; it is also our lowest complete head rebuild package price. You get our general service which includes teardown, soda blast cleaning, carbon removal, total inspection, seats cut using a multi-angle, high profile cutter on our Rottle SG7 seat and guide machine for perfect concentricity. We then check stem and spring heights and correct as needed. The head is then professionally assembled and vacuum checked for proper sealing. The valve train parts include the ProX stainless intake valve conversion kit, Viton guide seals, new OE exhaust springs. If the exhaust guides are worn, we can replace them with Bronze Manganese for during the service. Please send your complete head with cams, lifters, rocker arm, cam caps, bolt and bearing retainers. We only re-use your spring washers, keepers, and retainers if in good condition. We also offer valve adjustments for only . NOTE: All stainless conversions reduce power by about 2+ horse power due to the 70% heavier valves and springs, compared to titanium. For competition and to keep the motor at full power we suggest our upgrade CrN PVD coated Titanium valve package, or our Beryllium Copper seat package; both actually outlast all Stainless steel valves.

We can rebuild your head better and faster than new. Our most popular and longest wearing option rebuilds your head with Beryllium Copper intake seats and Bronze Manganese exhaust guides with Chromium Nitride (CrN) PVD coated Titanium intake valves, OE stellite or stainless exhaust valves, upgrade springs and viton seals. It also includes bowl porting. The package maintains full hp compared to stainless steel intake valves. 9
Note: Old school methods of seat cutting and valve grinding do not work on modern motocross race heads. Most automotive machine shops and most motorcycle shop hand grinders will not cut the precise concentricity needed in these high RPM heads. This is due in part to the small valve stems and flex in the pilot guides. We use the race developed Rottler SG7 seat and guide machine with special tooling for motocross and powersports heads.  We specialize exclusively in these type of heads.
