  • Condition: Both cards are un-used and in great condition but have yellowed some with age.No writing or stains. Few dark pin point specks on the back of the metro card.The plastic sleeve on the metro card has some sticker residue in the upper left. The backing card for the Metro card has what looks like "Royal" printed in very pale gold script in multiple places.

    Description

    2 vintage Boston Terrier un-used postcards. Both are in plastic sleeves.
    Standard postcard size: 3 1/2"x5 1/2".
    One postcard is a Boston Terrier sitting in a wicker chair.  It's got a copyright date of 1953.
    This print was taken from an original painting by the cowboy artist, statesman and poet, ex-Senator Lewis H. Larsen of Utah.
    The other postcard is more a cartoon type drawing of a couple kissing on a couch with a dog watching them with "Excuse me for not writing. I've been feeling low lately."
    The brown/white dog looks like a Boston Terrier puppy since it has a flat face and big eyes.
    It does not have a date on it but it does have a tiny emblem on the back near the bottom "Made by Metropolitan, Everett, MASS".
    This is from my personal collection of dog collectibles.

    Both cards are un-used and in great condition but have yellowed some with age. Very minimal wear along edges.
