2 boston terrier dogs pooch vintage/antique door stops mom + pup metal cast iron

definite paint loss and rusting.
i know these have been around my mom's house for some time, but i know that there are vintage replicas of turn-of-the-[last]-century doorstops... so i am unsure if this are genuine antique ones or vintage. i do know they used flat-head screws, but that is an amateur identifier for authentic ones. [i guess replicas will sometimes use the more modern phillips head.] i can't find a signature, but i guess alot of these were signed inside (between the hemispheres) of the door stops. and i don't even want to begin to touch them structurally. i guess originals would often have a genuine maybe leather collar, but those don't last too long even for definite antique ones. in the case of each of these, there is a recess as if a setting for one. and in the case of the big dog, there seem to be some dots of worn off paint that look like they could have been caused by a collar buckle. i guess replicas didn't tend to bother with accessorizing the pooches, so likely would not have a recess in the design for a collar. that more than exhausts my knowledge of door stops.
these definitely have weathering and don't appear brand new to me in any way. there is definitely rust speckling. they are handsome decor whichever they may be: vintage or antique. as far as the few obvious signs of being newer (shiny paint, wrong screw head) i can find none of these. the larger pooch dimensions (that sure does weigh alot): from outside of the most outside ear to the tail tip is 9 3/4". from the bottom of the paw to the tip of the ear is 10 1/2". ribcage at widest is 3 1/4". the smaller pooch: from the outside of the most outside ear to the tip of the tail as well as from the bottom of his paw to the top of his ear he is 5". the rib cage at its fattest point is 1 3/4" wide.
