    Description

    Handsome fold-out 1950 Amoco road map of New Jersey, printed more than 69 years ago.
    The map opens to 27" x 19½" and has good detail on old highway alignments, with cartography by Rand McNally.
    There's a map of the United States on the reverse side, along with inset plans of Philadelphia and New York City and vicinity, including Hoboken, Fort Lee, and Palisades Park.
    The map was published by the American Oil Company in 1950 and is dated by the code number in the lower margin: 0-453616V-6.
    There's an ad for Permalube Motor Oil on the back cover.
